The Four Worlds
by Daniel Gil
This album is dedicated to my father, Efraim Tzvi ben Shimon z"l, and to all children whose worlds were stolen from them during war.
It is based on a Kabbalistic concept about the nature of reality. The Kabbalah states that there are four worlds, or universes, one inside the other, that encompass the fabric of reality in total. From Psychedelic Rock to full orchestral scoring, this CD has a taste of everything, and is amongst the most unique CD's ever produced. A Fusion of Middle Eastern Sounds with 70's psychedelia, and a joining of world music with orchestral beauty!

Olam HaAsiyah - The World of Action (tracks 1 - 3) The world we live in is referred to as the world of action, and is considered the outermost, or lowest of all realities. It is in our world, the world of action, Olam HaAsiyah, that we find the light of the infinite so diminished as to be almost unnoticeable. It is this lack of perceived infinite energy that gives rise to the space we have to make decisions; to act. Hence this world is called the world of action, Olam HaAsiyah. Olam HaYetsirah - The World of Angels and Souls (tracks 4 - 6) Although it's hard to imagine, the world just above or internal to our world is a world filled only with love. It is the world of the angels, and the world of the souls of those who have been incarnated. It is a world of connection to self, others, and God. It is a whole world of connection, and it connects the upper worlds to the lower worlds. In Hebrew the word for messenger and angel are the same, Malach. It is through the messages of The World of Angels, Olam HaYetsirah, that our world receives the light of the Infinite One. It is the link that the messenger provides to the receiver of the message, from the One who sent the message; the link to the Infinite God of reality. Olam HaBeriyah - The World of Creativity (tracks 7 - 9) The creation of creativity itself is found within this world. The light of the Infinite One shines so brightly here as to only leave room for total and complete inspiration, which is known in our world as prophecy. It is in The World of creativity, Olam HaBeriyah, that the essence of the creative is found; an almost perfect perception of the logical oneness of existence. It is from this unity that all artists draw their life blood. In The World of Creativity, Olam HaBeriyah, is found the pure expression and blissful delight of bringing something new into the world; the joy of true self discovery and mastery. Olam HaAtsilut - The World of Closeness (tracks 10 - 12) This world is as close to The Infinite One as is possible without the consciousness of the world being subsumed by the light of the infinite, and losing its identity entirely. It is the world of being close. It is knowing how to be so close as to be totally united with the Infinite source of existence, but just separate enough to not be totally consumed. It is the secret of true love, and the secret of the infinite unending life. It is the secret of the family of God.
